To provide an overall and integrated approach, Below are some excellent web-sites that give more detailed information and tools to help you with your quest to be fit, healthy and happy.

1.Read the food labels to see what is in the foods you buy.
2. Avoid processed foods and raise the amount of Omega 3 fat you consume (in oily fish, vegetables, nuts, flaxseeds}.
3. Base your meals on starchy foods. Bread, potatoes, pasta, rice. Wholemeal is best.
4. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Eat a variety, especially dark green and coloured.
5. Eat two portions of oily fish per week, such as, Salmon, Herring, Pilchards, Mackerel.
6. Your body needs some fat to be healthy, but people commonly eat far too much. Cut down on saturated fat. Polyunsaturated and Monounsaturated fat is good for your heart and circulation.
